Welcome to Craig, Lorna and Ailsa's static caravan website.
We are pleased to say that there are limited on-site facilities or entertainment as we suspect that you chose our holiday home for its potential for relaxation rather than rowdiness. However, there are numerous facilities within easy reach.
Lossiemouth Bay Caravan Park is situated a couple of minutes walk from Lossie’s East beach which is favoured by the gulf stream, providing a relatively mild climate. Miles of golden sand provide endless space for family fun in the sun. As if one weren’t enough, Lossie also boasts another sandy beach on its West facing coast, the other side of town.
Staying on the CaravanPark site of the river Lossie, there is a wealth of woodland walks – ideal for wildlife and bird-spotting. The scenery is stunning and the air is beautifully clear.
A few minutes walk away you will find a number of pubs and eateries along the esplanade as well as a general store/newsagent. There are also larger Co-Op stores in Queen Street and Boyd Anderson Drive.
At the end of the esplanade you will find the marina. The old harbour buildings now house a museum, a tearoom and a quality gift shop. There is also a well-equipped children’s play area nearby.
The city of Elgin is only 6 miles away and has the usual High Street stores such as Marks and Spencer.Going further afield the capital of the Highlands, Inverness, is less than an hour away by car.
For the golfers amongst you, we probably don’t need to tell you that there are at least ten golf courses each presenting their own challenges.
And of even more interest to me personally, you are literally on the doorstep of the Speyside whisky trail! Slainte Mhor!
